Like the way you say you hate it
When I keep lying and it’s like
the way I burned your pictures
And you threw away the ring
I forgot our favorite places
And all our favorite things
Or the way you used to giggle
Every time we kissed
I used to laugh and giggle back
But I forgot all this
I didn’t keep your t-shirt
The cotton one, it’s blue
I never hold it tightly
Pretending it was you
