MERRY XMAS FELLOWS.

I swore to myself I wouldn't do cap lock titles anymore... I lied. And no French today because I'm lazy. :c Had a terrible Christmas eve. Don't even want to go into it.

BUT it was a good Christmas. Here's what I got;

A bunch of books by Edward Gorey, including the Gashlycrumb Tinies, which is a crazy alphabet book about kids dying. It starts like this-
"A is for Amy who fell down the stairs,
B is for Basil, assaulted by bears..."
and so on. It's my favorite book ever.

The KIMBA BOX SET O YAH! :party: It is my favorite dorky 60s series ever. XD The episode that introduces Speedy the "cheetah" is my favorite. (boy, that one was butchered by the dub, but that's the price I pay for not having to watch it in Japanese like an anime nerb.)

A graphics card of unremembered brand and version that my dad insists is top of the line. C: GET READY 4 ME, SIMS 2! My dad hasn't installed it yet and I feel bad mentioning around him because he goes into a fit of guilt about being busy. lol I don't really mind.

So far, I got these cute little mini non-My Little Pony brand ponies. They're pretty sweet. During the last day of school I made them have pony adventures whenever I had a spare minute, which was often.

A redneck picture frame. Awhile back my friend Sara's mom took a picture of me wearing fake hillbilly teeth. They decked it out with a cardboard frame and a cardboard top hat, glued various things to the frame (including a thumbtack, a penny, and a REAL TOOTH.) and stuck a toothpick into the picture between my teeth. XD

Two shoujo mangas, and from the same person (Selah, aka anonymous fangirl), an air freshener and mints. Normally, this would be a hit that I stink. (frankly, it might still be...) BUT. But... they're actually "I'm Not Straight" mints and air freshener. (as opposed to a pine tree)

The mint box looks like this. They taste terrible. I intend to bring them to school and trick people into eating one. C: I would have just posted the pic but I feel it would distract from the purpose of the blog. XD'

Watched the finale of Doctor Who today. I mean, I watched it on the computer a long time ago, but it's so much more real when you see it on tv. me and my friend Selah cried like wussies. My little brother made fun of us.

Okay... hm. OH! I'm working on my manga for the anime convention. The pages all all sketched, half of them are inked, and two of them are fully finished + the cover. Here's what I've finished so far;

un ordinateur= a computer.
J'ai un ordinateur= I have a computer.
Ma ordinateur est mal.= My computer is bad. (But not mine! Haha! My dads going to get me a hard drive with 160 GB or something around there.)

The point of this post is... I'm a retard. Lol. I've been waking up with the song "Toxic Love" from Ferngully stuck in my head every morning. You know, that movie about forests and fairies and some such? Well, I finally downloaded it and I still cannot get enough of it.

So finally I was like, "Why am I so addicted to this song? I mean, sure theres nice grindy industrial techy crap like Nine Inch Nails, but... I've been listening to the same song for the past three hours! Who sings this anyways?"

Tim Curry... hm. So I wikipedia'd him, like nobody who hasn't been living under a rock should have to do. And this was what I said then. "JDKLSJFB. ROCKY HORROR. TIM CURRY. DUH."

:forehead smack: I haven't felt this dumb since the time I was most ways through watching Doctor Who season 1 with the ninth doctor and finally going, "That captain Jack fellow seems rather gay, eh wot?" Maybe three episodes after he was introduced. XD; If you'd seen the show, you'd think I was impossibly dumb.

Have you HEARD Toxic Love? It should have been so obvious. I was getting a sort of Rocky Horror hunch when I finally decided to wiki it... but that was three hours after I started listening to it.

Me and my friend Selah LOVE that movie right now. That whoah. C: I love the pairing Betelgeuse/Lydia. I enjoy trying to figure out how the situation in the movie went to the situation in the show. I think Betelgeuse was released on probation or something and lurked around Lydia.

If I ever did a story about it, she would be resentful at first, but eventually the would become friends. Then one time BJ would do something wrong and nearly get called back to the Neitherworld, but Lydia would lie for him and he would get to stay. ^o^ Also, I think it's cute how in the cartoon, he always called her babes.

Another thing that's cool right now, actually, has always been cool... is Utena. Utena and Kimba are my only two SOLID fandoms. The others come and go.
